Business Development Manager – EdTech / SAAS – London - £70k

Our client is currently looking to grow and expand their operations and is looking for new business development managers to grow and expand their presence in the London area. The Role:
As a Business Development Manager for this EdTech company your duties will include monitoring and ensuring the allocated sales targets are being met. You will generate new prospects and leads and will follow up on those leads (working with telesales) to arrange and deliver demos. You will identify and cultivate flagship schools that can promote and market this EdTech company to other local schools. Business Development Managers will be required to maintain high quality communication with colleagues and customers/clients. Business Development Managers will also follow up on any leads from events, campaigns etc where customers have shown an interest in our EdTech services. You will mainly be identifying key clusters, trusts and school partnerships in the London area and generating new business with strategic sales activity.

The Candidate:
The Ideal Business Development Manager will have excellent face to face and telephone manner, rapport building and negotiation skills. You will be very confident and outgoing and have strong objection handling skills. Business Development Manager will have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. As a critical player In this EdTech company you will develop strong relationships both internally and externally and provide excellent customer service. You will also be outgoing with a genuine desire to perform well. You MUST have a knowledge of Schools and have a proven track record of selling software into education.

The Package:
For the Business Development Manager in this EdTech company you will receive a basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience with the ability to earn on target earnings of £70,000. On top of this lucrative package you will receive benefits including private healthcare, a company car laptop and mobile phone.
