BDM / Key Account Manager – FMCG / Health Foods

A renowned FMCG / health food business is re-launching a product range based around low calorie high protein snacks. If you want to be part of a very exciting launch and develop your career to national accounts in a short space of time this could be your dream role

The Role:
Working closely alongside the national account manager and marketing team you will be taking to market a newly – re-launch of a range of snacks that are high in protein and low in calories to a diverse customer base. You will need to take responsibility for all aspects of the sales cycle from cold calling to going out and talking to a range of prospects (retail like Tesco, Waitrose etc), wholesalers so they can target the independents, e-commerce etc

The Company:
A well-known market leader in the space they are re-launching this range of healthy snacks due to spotting a gap in the market. Being in the advantageous position of working for a well known and well-respected brand you will be able to offer a range of healthy snacks the market is crying out for. This re-launch is part of the next phase of growth as part of a 5-year plan for the business.

The Candidate:
You will be a recruiter with a demonstrable track record of success within the FMCG space, ideally within food. Any knowledge of health foods is a plus but not essential. You will need to be comfortable developing new business and then driving growth from the accounts you bring on board.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience plus a car allowance of £4,000 per year, pension, health and a company bonus structure of 20% of salary as well as a commission plan which is being finalised. Also on offer is a recognised training program as well working with a company that is growing and promotes from within so this could be the first step on the career ladder of a very successful business.
