Account Manager - FinTech (Retail Banking) - £120k ote

An award winning rapidly expanding market leader within the FinTech space (financial technology) is looking to recruit 2 account managers / senior BDM’s to their EMEA team. If you are a strategy consultant or project manager with domain experience within retail banking world looking to transition across to work for a award winning FinTech vendor this could be your dream role

The Role:
As an account manager / business development manager you will be focused on developing new business selling a FinTech software solution that is based around PFM (personal financial management) in to your assigned territory. Selling in to the retail banking / financial services sector offering both an OnPremise software solution that enables banks to offer their customers an additional offering based around managing their financial outgoings better you will also then be able to offer them a range of services based around extracting that data so they can offer other services lines and therefore further monetize their customer base.

The Candidate:
You will be a highly successful account manager / business development manager that can demonstrate a solid track record of achievement of new business sales within the FinTech (financial technology) or you will come from a background of working for a strategy consulting house in to retail banking market place, with exposure to digital a big plus. You will be someone that is capable of handling the entire sales process from initial prospecting through to close of deal which can often be a 12-18 month sales cycle as well as being responsible for managing and responding to RFP’s or RFI’s that may be sent in by potential prospects. Additional languages are a plus in particular Spanish, Italian, German, French or Portuguese as these are regions with existing pipeline and ongoing conversations with prospects you would inherit.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £55,000-£70,000 depending on experience, pension, health, criteria and also an uncapped ote of £100,000-£110,000. Also on offer is the opportunity of working with a company that is growing and promotes from within and is looking to build and develop their UK office. They are also open to discussing stock options plan as part of their long term strategy for the business.
