EMEA Sales Director - Lecture Capture / LMS - Further Education

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a market leading organization in the LMS / video management platform (SaaS) market place. The Role:
As the EMEA Sales Director your primary responsibility will be to develop a sales strategy for the business of where the best opportunity is for net new business and then to drive and execute that strategy as the lead sales person in the region as this is player coach role. As such you will need to be someone that is comfortable being a sales person in front of customers as a primary activity. You will also have responsibility for a small team sales and support staff in the UK. There is also the potential to build and develop the team further based on the growth you manage to generate from the region.

The Company:
Recognised as a market leader in the LMS / video management platform (SaaS) market in the higher education space and now with a corporate offering due to an acquisition you will have a fantastic offering to take market in the growing world of video based learning and engagement for both students within the higher education / universities market place as well as corporate L&D departments. You will also be able to demonstrate success and case studies with many of the world’s leading universities including Russell Group universities.

The Candidate:
You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record selling in a learning management based SaaS solution to the higher education / universities and or corporate market place for a sustain period of time. Ideally this will be an LMS (learning management systems), video management, virtual learning tools. You will also need to be someone that is still hungry and self motivated and prepared to both devise the strategy for the region as well as then delivering that strategy through selling both directly for larger deals as well as working with resellers in certain regions and also working with your team to assist them to build and close their pipeline / opportunities. Any exposure of selling to senior academics or technical executives in the higher education space is a distinct advantage.

The Package:
On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £100,000-£150,000 depending on experience, and an ote of circa £200-£250k. Also on offer is a recognised training program as well working with a company that is growing and promotes from within so this could be the first step on the career ladder of a very successful business that is looking to expand their business development function globally over the next 2 years.
