Business Development Manager – Business Intelligence - £120k

You will be working for a rapidly expanding market leading Software vendor within the world of BI (Business Intelligence) and data analytics software selling their leading range of solutions that includes their offering being fully integrated with a leading credit reference agency which in turns mean they genuinely have a unique offering to the market place and a game changed to the way in which public software uses their data and credit information to make better business decisions.

The Role:
As a business development manager you will be responsible for targeting a range of public sector markets which could include central government, local councils, social housing, NHS etc. depending on your skill set in the London and Home Counties region. You will be talking with senior heads of business and “C” suite professionals within the public sector, as such you will need to be someone that can engage at all levels and has a sound knowledge of the public sector market place so you can explain to them the value of having a strong BI / data analytics offering with the current needs to operate in a more business minded way.

Due to their continued growth (over 150%+ year on year for the past year) and their reputation for excellence they are looking to further expand their team organisation by adding to the sales / business development team targeting both new business as well as existing customers.

The Candidate:
You will be over achieving solution led business development / account management professional within software that can demonstrate a successful track record over a sustained period of time. You will also need to be someone that can demonstrate following a sales methodology and how that has assisted with you winning business. Any exposure to ERP (SAP) is highly advantageous however not essential as they are also open to people from alternative backgrounds such as BI (Business Intelligence), data management, big data or individuals that have worked for other ISV’s selling a solution that is sold at executive level to both the business and IT sides of the market as such someone who is use to selling to multiple stakeholders

On offer is a very attractive package with a base salary of between £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience and uncapped ote £90,000-£120,000 (1st year) with an accelerator once you surpass your target, car allowance, pension, health etc. This is a company that is growing and promotes from within, so this could be the first step on the career ladder of a very successful business, as well as long term equity potential for superstars this could be an excellent choice of career.
