The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be driving new business growth across the UK. Working for this innovative Customer Engagement Software firm, you will be selling into the enterprise retail and ecommerce market across the UK. These bespoke customer engagement solutions allow your clients to visibly identify areas that discourage consumer purchase; therefore, they are then able to implement a strategy to win that revenue back. As a Business Development Manager, you will use a consultative approach and represent yourself and this customer engagement software company in a well presented and polished manner.

The Candidate:
As a Business Development Manager, you must have a hunter mentality, with a real passion for prospecting and closing new business opportunities. You must have sold Marketing Technology or Retail Technology, ideally customer engagement solutions. You must have excellent communication, and negotiation skills, with exposure to the enterprise retail and ecommerce marketplace. As a Business Development Manager, you must be passionate about the solution you are selling and be well presented as a large part of the role will involve going out and meeting existing and new clients.

The Package:
Although the salary package will be negotiable dependent upon previous experience, initial indication is base salary of between £70,000 and £80,000 basic, with a £120,000 OTE, plus excellent benefits.
