The Role
In this new business development role, the Sales Manager will be reaching out to new prospects in the corporate environment across a range of industries (Government, Manufacturing, Charities, Retail, Telco etc). Our consultancy projects are bespoke for each client. Our services are fundamental for our clients to assist them in planning their business activities, but also for support and influence in external factors (such as government or consumer influence).

You will have a team of some of the most respected Economists supporting you, as they will be producing the projects. The Sales Manager will make the introduction, and in a consultative manner to various MDs, C-Level, Strategy Directors, explain how our projects are of high value to them. You will have a first year target of circa £300k, with average order values of these projects ranging from £20k up to £150k.

The Candidate
We require well-educated and a successful Sales Manager with a proven track record of winning new business in a B2B/market research/business intelligence. Preference would be given to candidates from an Economics Consultancy, Management Consultancy, or similar professional services field. The ideal candidate must have an excellent telephone manner, and a real "can do" attitude.

The Package
For Business Development Executive position you will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £40,000 and £55,000 with a generous, with on target OTE of £70,000 (uncapped) in the first year. Additional benefits include a further end of year bonus of between £3k-£6k based overall team performance.
